In 1969 the Lowchen was said to be the rarest dog breed in the world. This hardy dog "has a little dog body but a big dog heart". They are loyal to their family and wonderful with children. 
At the 2006 Lowchen National Specialty "Ikon I'll Give Ya Goosebumps" (Tango) took Winners Dog along with an Award of Merit and an invitation to Crufts at nine months old. 
His brother from an earlier litter finished in seven shows with competition, and has a Group placement in his first time out as a specials.

TOOK HIS SECOND AWARD OF MERIT AT THE LOWCHEN CLUB OF AMERICA NATIONAL SPECIALTY IN AS MANY YEARS.  HE WAS 19 MOS OLD!
